There are seven Sacraments in the Catholic Church instituted by Christ: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist (Communion), Penance (Reconciliation), Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony.
The Sacraments are divided into three groups: the Sacraments of Christian Initiation, the Sacraments of Healing, and the Sacraments at the Service of Communion.
